Minecraft PE 1.21.80.21 (1.21.62)

1. Trial Chambers:

Trial Chambers are brand new underground structures that you should definitely visit after updating Minecraft. As stated by the developers, trial chambers will challenge your skills and the skills of your friends if you play in a group. These structures are huge halls divided into rooms in which you will find many dangers.



The rooms, meanwhile, consist of various mechanical traps, as well as new non-monster spawners, which are discussed below. There are also new copper lamps that change the light level depending on the degree of oxidation.

2. Trial Spawners:

This is a new type of spawner added to Minecraft PE 1.21.0. Trial spawners are similar to monster spawners except for the following features: after breaking they give valuable items (probably emeralds or diamonds) instead of experience. In addition, trial spawners are part of the trial chambers generation only, perhaps this will change in future versions.



It was added as an environment-dependent spawner - the number of players and the blocks surrounding it affect the mobs spawning from it.

3. Copper Blocks:

A. Copper Door and Trapdoor

To form that structure, more blocks are required and Minecraft PE 1.21 will provide them. First up are the copper doors shown in the official trailer about trial chambers. There is no exact information whether they work with redstone, but one thing is known for sure - they also oxidize like any other copper objects. This applies to copper trapdoors as well.

B. Copper Grates

Today, only the texture of the new copper grates is known, which will take a certain place among the decorative blocks in Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.

C. Copper Bulb

And the last new copper block at the moment is the copper bulb. It emits light like a regular lamp, but has a non-standard feature: depending on the degree of oxidation, the light emission changes and can be set by you to the maximum level using wax.

4. Breeze

The first mob expected in MC:PE 1.21. And if the next one is peaceful, then this one is considered as aggressive, most likely living only in underground structures such as new chambers.



The breeze has the amazing ability to attack with gusts of wind, which makes it a truly unique entity. It compresses like a spring and then attacks with a blast of wind, causing damage and even affecting levers, buttons, and other multi-state mechanisms.

5. Armadillo

The second confirmed mob of Minecraft 1.21.0 is armadillo chosen by the players in the mob vote 2023. It defeated the penguin and the crab, thereby securing its place in the anticipated Minecraft 1.21 update.



Today, only a few features inherent to armadillos are known. It is unlikely that it will be given anything more than dropable scutes and the ability to hide its head and limbs in its shell.

6. Crafter

Finally, meet the new functional block presented as a crafter. This thing is capable of independently creating those objects that you specify inside it. It has its own interface like crafting table and also has a number of cool features.




Automatic crafting is now possible in Minecraft BE 1.21 - you just need to place the components in the crafting grid and wait for it to finish. While it is working you can go about your business. Plus, the crafter is compatible with redstone and can work together with other functional blocks.

7. First beta and Release date:

The release date is expected to be early next year. The first betas of Minecraft PE 1.21 may roll out in early November. As version 1.20 it received the first "crafter update" in 1.20.50.21.
