Upgradeable Backpacks Addon v1.0.2 for Minecraft Bedrock 1.21/26.10+

Upgradeable Backpacks is a mod for MCBE that removes the need to run to chests to drop off loot. Basically, it's an advanced system that works reliably when switching between worlds or restarting the server (if you're playing on Realms). In a way, it's more like a multiplayer version of the Backpacks Addon (download).

Backpack upgrade levels:

Everything is built around a system of gradual improvement. You start with a simple backpack, and then, using special kits, turn it into an iron, gold, and eventually a netherite one. The better the material, the more space inside. For example the top-tier version replaces a double chest.

Upgrade process: hold the backpack in your left hand and the upgrade tool in your right; after pressing the interaction button the level increases (items remain inside). By the way base models can be repainted in any of 16 colors using dyes.

Smart Add-ons:

Additionally, the add-on includes slots for modules that provide passive bonuses. Depending on the backpack's level, you can insert one to six such modules into it.

1. If you equip a magnet items on the ground will fly toward you.
2. The auto-sorting module will organize your inventory without your intervention.
3. The torch module lights up the surrounding area.
4. Inventory preservation after death
5. The upgraded food backpack automatically picks the most nutritious food from your inventory and feeds you when you get hungry.

Pocket Ender Chest for Bedrock:

The Ender backpack was added in 1.0.2. It has 27 slots and its contents are tied to the player. No matter how many of these backpacks you craft you will have access to the same storage. The only caveat is that you cant attach additional modules to it.
