You'll have access to a set of skills, each available as separate icons when holding the staff. Switching between them grants you completely different abilities designed to eliminate various types of enemy groups.
The first set of skills is mostly suitable for taking down one or a few enemies using lightning strikes or direct damage.
The next set of skills is better suited for large clusters of enemies, especially when they're grouped together. These powerful area-based attacks allow you to wipe out all enemies at once - extremely useful and effective when you're trapped with only one way out: through your enemies.
