The Fall/Winter update continues, and this time, version 26.70.20 introduces new mechanics for exploring ice caves and listening to music. Changes have also been made to mob spawning in the Nether, and several bugs have been fixed. Overall, this Bedrock preview is packed with bug fixes, mostly for the previous version 26.60.29. So here's a brief but detailed look at Minecraft Bedrock 26.70.20.

Dangerous Cracks in the Ice:

In the Ice caves biome, version 26.70.20 now features deep crevasses. They're covered in fragile ice that can break. Pools of water sometimes generate below them so be careful.

The fragile ice also cracks under mobs. It doesn't melt and can form naturally or when flowing water comes into contact with blue ice. When cracks appear and the block breaks, ice particles and vibrations are also generated.

Music Without Changing Discs:

In Minecraft 26.70.20, you can create a playlist for the record player. To do this, place a regular chest, a trapped chest or any type of copper chest on top and put music discs inside.

The record player will play them in the order of the slots. After the last record, playback will start over. If you remove the current record the system will switch to the next available one. Its that simple.

Changes for Frostbites:

Frostbites can now pick up spears, but they don't use the charge attack. Additionally, they can walk on thin ice. Separate sound effects have been added for turning zombies into Frostbites and back.

Changes to the Nether:

In Bedrock 26.70.20, a new parameter was introduced to adjust mob spawning in the Nether. It reduces mob density and changes the conditions under which mobs spawn in strongholds, similar to how it works in Java.
