One Chest Map for Minecraft Bedrock 26.60+

Are you familiar with One Block Survival - a skyblock style map for Bedrock Edition? Well, One Chest is a slightly more challenging map that consists of nothing but a chest as you might have guessed. There’s nothing else; you’re surrounded by nothing but emptiness from which you must build a livable base to survive.

Getting Started on One Chest:

The chest contains items arranged in slots. There are 64 blocks of dirt, 10 blocks of obsidian, and a oak sapling in the center. If you lose the sapling or drop a block down the walkthrough will be blocked. First, carefully build a platform beneath you plant the tree, and wait for the first leaves to grow.

Path to the End:

1. Develop a self-sustaining base from the starting resorces
2. Build a portal to the Nether
3. Prepare for a long journey
4. Reach the End Portal

What to do if the oak sapling falls?

If your only sapling has fell into the abyss, or no saplings dropped from the first canopy, there’s no point in continuing to survive (it’s easier to restart the map). Without wood, you dont be able to craft a table, tools, platform extension slabs, or mob spawners. In theory, the wandering trader sells saplings, but to pay with emeralds, you’ll need a mob farm, chests, and blocks none of which can be built without basic wood.

How do you get water and lava without starting buckets?

In the void without ice or lava in the One Chest Map, you’ll have to rely on the wandering trader and mobs. Zombies serve as a source of iron for crafting buckets and cauldrons, and a cauldron collects water when it rains. Furthermore, you can buy a bucket of water from the merchant if he’s selling tropical fish or pufferfish. As for lava, it’s obtained either by trading with the wandering trader (for a bucket of lava) or by expanding drip farms and solidified lava if the trader are selling the necessary resorces.

dont forget that without a stable source of wood you cant progress further in this map.
