Black Mesa is a huge complex of secret laboratories which are located deep underground and protected from outside interference. Like the SCP Foundation Facility, Black Mesa is a set of laboratories and buildings hidden from humanity due to the increased secrecy of experiments.

This place is the focus of creating ultra-dangerous weapons, conducting experiments on living things, developing robots and other processes and research in promising areas. Black Mesa bears some similarities to the SCP complex in terms of their protection and structure.
In Black Mesa, the labs feature thick walls and blast-resistant doors. But even such security measures failed to stop the spreading infection that eventually hit everything.
Wandering between laboratories, you may come across creatures that look like people. But don't jump to conclusions before approaching them. Due to the partially lost power supply, many of the buildings have no lighting. Be careful going forward.
