How to make a working shower in Minecraft (+Map)

In this guide you will learn a new interesting redstone and command blocks scheme that allows you to make your own shower cabin in Minecraft and MCPE! You can not read the guide and immediately download the finished map where you will see everything clearly (link below).


First of all, I strongly advise you to download the Coordinate addon. With it you can see your coordinates which is very important for this guide and it will always be useful. By the end of this guide you should have something like this:.

Type two commands: /give @p command_block and /gamerule commandblockoutput false. The first command gives you the command block, and the second will not spam executed commands. I placed the funnel for beauty, you also need to place one sticky piston and two buttons that will turn the shower on and off.


And now the basic scheme of the mechanism. Note that the type of some command blocks needs to be changed to a cycle or chain (blue = cycle, green = chain) and you need to set the Redstone parameter to Need a redstone for all.


Below in the screenshot, I marked the command blocks with numbers so that you do not get confused when filling them.


Type the following command in block n1, which will reproduce the sound of water from our shower. Let's decorate the front side slightly and place the glass panels:



Now you need to do so that the door (glass panel) is closed when the shower is turned on. To do this, stand between the glass panels and remember the coordinates displayed in the lower right corner.

Open the interface of the command block n2 and type the command (screenshot below). Attention! This command fills the height (Y axis) + two blocks.


If you now click on the button, the space between the glass panels will be filled, which creates a closing effect.


Now it's time to add water to our shower. To do this, stand up and remember the coordinates.

Go to the third command block and type the command (your coordinates).


Excellent! Now, if you press the button again, then the particles of water will appear, which creates the effect of a real shower!


The shower mechanism is ready, but you still need to turn it off somehow!


Do you remember the coordinates that we used for our glass panel door? So, do the same thing, only this time type the air block in the fourth command block instead of the glass panel.

Stand between the piston and the red dust and remember the coordinates. These coordinates must be entered in the fifth command block.



Go back there again, but now you have to stand right next to the piston. Remember the coordinates again.


Go to the last, the sixth command block. Open its interface and type the command with coordinates.


Now, if you click the second (bottom) button, the mechanism will remove the redstone block and return it to its original position, ie the redstone signal ends and the commands stop executing. This way the shower will turn off.
