For PvP, swords are short so they dont block the screen, armor and enchanted sets shimmer, interfaces such as the enchantment table or beacon are completely transparent. This is a huge plus because while you are choosing a buff or spell you can see if an enemy has crept up behind you;
Survival details:
The fire is low, so you dont run blindly when you set something on fire. Critical hit particles and potions in the Nonchalance Texture Pack have also been redrawn to be more expressive. Even food, such as golden apples, is more juicy and easier to notice in the hotbar.
