Mellow Shader v1.4 for Minecraft Bedrock 26.52+

Mellow focuses on soft lighting and calm colors, allowing everyone to fully appreciate sunsets and sunrises. In other words, the sky takes on shades of amber and cream, and the sun casts a soft golden light. Thanks to proper color correction, Minecraft Bedrock no longer looks so washed-out, and the shader avoids harsh contrast.

Lighting and Fog:

In Mellow, rays of light create natural glints on the grass, and volumetric fog disperses around light sources without affecting the render distance too much. At night, torches and lanterns cast a warm glow, and shadows in buildings and caves remain distinct, just like in older realistic shaders for Minecraft PE.

Transparent Water and Reflections:

Bodies of water now feature custom animations and a caustics mesh, making the water fully transparent while realistically reflecting the sun and clouds. The shader includes separate normal maps and PBR parameters (MER), so the water's surface reacts to changes in the time of day and weather. Ores in mines and blocks like ancient debris also have their own reflection maps.

FPS on low-end devices:

Mellow Shader is based on Deferred Lighting (RenderDragon), but the code has been optimized. It doesn't contain heavy effects so the build runs smoothly on low-end smartphones and PCs.

At the same time, atmospheric effects have been added for all biomes including a purple-hued aurora, and sky textures have been updated to include the phases of the moon.
