Nothing will happen for the first couple of days. This time is set aside for initial preparation and gathering resources. Soon, the first disease carrier - an infected spider will appear. This is when the Fungus Hazard Addon begins silently spreading the Ophiomyces Ominis parasite. At first, infected creatures are weak and will simply run away from you, but the situation will quickly spiral out of control! This is a sequel to The Last of Us Infected Addon, but with a modern twist and new mechanics.

Spread of the Infection:

The Fungus Hazard system is based on hidden points that advance the stages of the disease. If you decide to sleep and skip the night, the infection gains thirty points at once; plus, each infected mob adds five points, and an infected block of land adds one. The parasite developing to a new stage inside an animal's body adds another three points, and the only way to slow it down is to actively clear the infected areas. Killing an infected creature subtracts five points from the total counter. In short, youll have to work harder to survive.

Evolution and Behavior:

Once they've accumulated 200 points, the infected enter the first phase. They stop fearing you, become aggressive, and gain the "fungal rage" effect. At 500 points, the infected begin to die on their own, leaving their remains on the ground. Mycelium grows from these remains, marking the territory as a new hive. Mutants are easily recognizable by their dark eyes, protruding teeth, and severely emaciated appearance. Theyre clustering near infection hotspots, fear fire, use spores to infect healthy animals, and attack.

Means of Protection:

• The Mycotic Totem serves as a shield and creates a safe zone around you.
• A boiling cauldron is needed to brew protective potions.
• Heavy armor is crafted from organic cores and infected flesh.
• The Anomalous Falchion sword deals increased damage to mutants.
• Bone meal allows you to artificially cultivate infection stages on mobs.

List of mobs:

1. Infected Spider: Patient Zero in Phase Zero. Appears first, avoids the player, and begins infecting other mobs.
2. Farm animals: Mutate and become overgrown with fungi. Pigs actively breed and infect healthy individuals.
3. Infected Horse: Looks like a zombie horse; becomes larger and more dangerous as it progresses through new stages.
4. Infected Wolf: Goes through several stages of mutation, falling into a state of madness.
5. Infected Villager and Adventurer: In Phase 1, they gain the "Fungal Wrath" effect for 3 minutes, become aggressive, and deal massive damage to unarmored players.
6. Mutated Humanoid: A stage 4 monster, resembling a Warden in terms of threat level and behavior.
7. Infected Player: Appears at the location where a player died from the infection.
8. Other Types: Enderman, polar bear, octopus, wandering merchant, witch, Humanoid Clicker.
