The SignEdit Mod turns signs into interactive objects. If you made a mistake in the name or want to rename a storage area, you don't need to destroy the block. Here's how it works in practice, in a few steps.

1. Pick up any sign.
2. Click (or tap) on the placed sign.
3. Edit the text.
4. Save your changes

Interface design:

Everything looks seamles, and you simply apply one sign to another. So there's no need to constantly craft new signs because of a single missing letter or mistake. Overall this is the kind of tool that should be included in the game by default, but keep in mind that this is a mod for IC.
