The first beta version of the Cave and Cliffs Update is out now and you can download it, but since Minecraft PE 1.17 is in its early stages, you will only find mountain goats and dusty snow there. It is not known exactly when the next MCPE 1.17 beta with new content will roll out and therefore you have the opportunity to see the planned features right now in the form of a concept from this addon.

The Cave and Cliffs Addon, in addition to the appearance, brings some functionality to the blocks and items. No doubt they do not repeat the original things from Minecraft BE 1.17.0, but in any case they are based on what the developers showed at the Minecraft Live 2020.
For example, you can use the dripleaf plant as a platform for a few seconds, or a spyglass to zoom in slightly (see how the anticipated spyglass works in the full Minecraft 1.17 article).
