These are over 70 new blocks which are added separately without replacing anything. All of them are colored versions of vanilla blocks with the exception of some. If you do not like the usual bookshelf made of wood, then get 19 new types of bookshelves.
So that survival does not lose its meaning, the addon adds new trader-villagers. They can sell you what you want or perform some actions and give you the finished item.
