Also, for convenience, new throwable creepers are an integral part of ordinary creepers, just go creepers hunting and pick up new items.

How to use them is up to you. Throwable creepers are great for military use: this is a real grenade that affects a small area. If you are peace-loving then remove your picks and start digging up big mines with the help of these creepers, they explode at that moment when they hit the target.
In fact, the list of missions is huge and you can add this addon to your server and play snowballs with new green snowballs for example.
