Minecraft Bedrock 26.10.25 - Patch Notes

Update 26.10.25 for the Bedrock version has been released. Nothing revolutionary-bug fixes, a couple of mob changes and another blow to the librarian. Below is what has changed. Please note that this is a continuation of game drop 1.

26.10.25 Changelog in general:

1. Corner stairs hold water - fix for versions 26.10+
2. Decorative cobblestone in stonecutter - bug fixed
3. Baby mob heads reduced for Java compatibility
4. Librarian now stops at level 4, level 5 removed
5. Name tags on wandering traders with a 7% chance
6. Tags removed from ancient city and mansion loot
7. Baby glow squids now glow
8. Armor trims are displayed correctly again
9. Fixed the trial chamber generator - less mob spam
10. Realism Craft 2.x can be downloaded again via Marketplace Pass

Bugs and glitches:

Corner stairs placed next to other types of stairs no longer lose water but only in worlds with base version 26.10 and above. Another bug has finally been fixed: andesite, diorite and granite can no longer be crafted into cobblestone using a stonecutter.

Mobs and graphics:

Baby versions of husks, drowned and zombies now have smaller heads. Officially, this is needed for Java compatibility, since the large heads previously stopped mobs from fitting through 1x1 passages. It looks a bit controversial an adult face on a small body looks strange.

Baby glow squids now glow even on simple graphic settings. Armor trims are visible again on players and mobs.

Librarian nerf:

The librarian no longer sells name tags and doesnt reach level five. The tags have been moved to wandering traders - 7% chance to appear, up to 5 pieces for 1 emerald. The tags have also been removed from chests in ancient cities and forest mansions.
