Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.10.21 - Golden Dandelion and More Baby Mobs

The latest version, 26.10.21, has been released, and although Bedrock owners had to wait a little longer because of delays, the content turned out to be pretty interesting. Drop 1 continues the large-scale expansion of the baby family, and now MinecraftPE has seven new types of babies that previously only existed as adult versions. More details below.

Who became a parent?

The list has been expanded with some interesting additions - tiny polar bears, fox cubs, camel calves, and even small armadillos. Llamas, goats, and bees also have babies now. Interestingly, Mojang has given them distinct features. Baby camels have not yet grown a full hump and look more pale than adults. Baby bees have shortened antennae and small wings.

Bedrock 26.10.21 introduced a special item - the Golden Dandelion. Recipe: a regular flower and a few gold nuggets. If you feed it to a baby, magical particles will appear around it, and it will remain in its baby form forever. This is the solution for those who want to have an eternal baby pet.

Technical breakthroughs and engine tricks in 26.10.21:

For those who play with a bunch of add-ons and texture packs, we added the Texture Streaming feature. If you enable it in the video settings, the game will stop clogging up your video memory (GPU) with all textures at once. The system will only load what you are currently looking at.

when you turn your head sharply the image may become blurry for a second, until the details are loaded.

Other changes:

• Zombie horse AI has been changed. They now behave like normal undead, and do not hide from the sun.

• Small polar bears now attack foxes (protective instinct).

• The mushroom on the head of the toadstool cow is now centered perfecly.

• Camels and horse skeletons have become smarter and no longer enter deep water, or step on dangerous blocks.

• Interaction icons for touch screens have been changed.
