Minecraft Bedrock 26.0.27 - Baby Mobs!

In the latest update 26.0.27, the developers decided to move away from the usual tadpoles and introduced completely redesigned models of the little ones. Now instead of smaller copies of adult specimens with big heads, we see normal proportions, detailed faces and smooth animations. This is the beginning of the first game drop for Minecraft Bedrock in 2026.

New baby mobs:

Special attention was given to rabbits, and they not only got new models but also learned to jump and move their tails in a more realistic way. Exclusive variations of cows and pigs were also added.

Tags are now craftable:

For a long time, name tags were treasures found in dungeon chests or could be traded with villagers. Now an official crafting recipe has been introduced; all you need is a sheet of paper and any metal nugget.

Sounds, physics and smart riders:

Mojang improved the visuals in Vibrant Visuals mode, fixing bugs with shadows at sunset and the display of items in players hands. But the most interesting thing is in the behavior of mobs. For example, zombie horses no longer panic when taking damage. In addition the list of chicken jockeys has been expanded - now the babies of drowned, zombie villagers and piglins can ride almost any animal in the area, from pandas to ocelots. Unique sound sets were also recorded for pig, wolf and cat babys.
