NostalgiaCraft 2026 for Minecraft Bedrock 26.X+

If you want to remember what Minecraft PE looked like back in the beginning, the NostalgiaCraft Pack is the quickest way to do it, and here's why. The pack brings the visuals and sounds of Bedrock Edition straight back to 2010, when the grass was a vibrant green, the world looked brighter and the game itself was called Pocket Edition.

How will the world change?

Color palette - In modern versions, the colors are more muted, but in NostalgiaCraft everything is as high-contrast as possible. To fully experience the atmosphere of the alpha version go to the graphics settings and turn off soft lighting. Then the blocks will have sharp light and shadow edges just like in the old versions.

Sounds and atmosphere:

In Bedrock they've brought back the old sounds from those days. The foliage and rocks look different, kinda simpler, but that's the whole point.

The difference between old and new textures:

• Before, saturated acid colors were dominating.
• The new textures are rendered more softly, while the old ones have a rough pixelated pattern.
• In the old version the lighting was more straightforward.
• The old style featured minimal gradients and classic sounds for impacts or footsteps.

Block and item textures:

• Brings back the vibrant neon green color of biomes
• Tree foliage looks like a solid dense mass of pixels without modern gradients.
• Original, more contrasting and sharp stone textures are used.
• The colors of wool blocks have been replaced with the older darker and more saturated versions.
• The icons for swords, food and tools in the inventory look like they did in 2010.
• The pig texture returns to its original appearance (flat snout).

Sound Effects:

• The classic "Oof!" sound when falling or being hit has been restored.
• Block destruction sounds (especially for grass and gravel) have been replaced with the original ones.
• Classic mob sounds
• The sounds of opening and closing doors match those of the games early versions.
