At night, you will see cubic stars as well as the moon. They have nothing to do with the default cubemap, nevertheless they are often used in various PvP texture packs for MCPE. Cubemap does not affect the basic principles of the game in any way and serves only as an aesthetic addition.
Very often the cubemap of some custom shaders was changed initially and the player does not need to do anything. But this Cubemap Pack allows you to change cubemap yourself, and it makes it very easy. Go to the pack settings by tapping on the gear and move the slider to the sides to select the map you want to see instead of the usual sky.
1. Download the pack and open it using Minecraft PE.
2. Go to the game settings and activate the pack.
