How many chunks are optimal?

First, you can go to the game settings and select the number of chunks you want. Install Bedrocktimize Addon to get more settings divided into sections and also more convenient to manage them.




So, Chunk Changer offers 7 settings from the highest performing with two chunks to 14 distance chunks. There is no doubt that choosing 2 chunks will give you the best performance especially if you are playing on a low-end device.

How it works?

Its concept is based on fog and some new features of Minecraft PE. By stopping at 3 chunks in the settings, the area around you will be covered with white fog, as if you are on the edge of the world. In this case, the invisible area will really not be loaded, thereby increasing the performance of the game as a whole.
