Swords & Bows introduces 20 new weapons to the game, evenly split between melee and ranged combat. Now every lunge or shot activates a unique ability from summoning allies to controlling gravity. An in-game book is provided for navigation, detailing all the recipes.
The power of special effects:
- The purple Magic Sword and similar bows inflict poison, weakness, and slow on the target.
- When struck, the End Sword spawns two friendly (to you) endermen with low health, who imediately join the fight.
- The Water Bow shoots projectiles that trap the enemy in bubbles and lift them into the air.
- The Overpower Bow has super fast reloading and fires three arrows at a time. The sword from the same series has an increased damage radius (up to 10 blocks). The TNT Bow will summon three dynamite blocks directly to the arrows landing spot.
Swords:
- Water Sword - throws enemies into bubbles.
- Warden Sword - inflicts the darkness effect.
- TNT Sword - explodes on contact.
- Redstone Sword - uses the energy of the stone.
- Quartz Sword - freezes for 5 seconds.
- Overpower Sword - attack range of 10 blocks.
- Magic Sword - poison, weakness, and slowdown for 10 seconds.
- Lava Sword - fire attack.
- End Sword - spawns 2 enderman minions.
- Emerald Sword - attack range of 5 blocks.
Bows:
- Water / Warden / TNT Bows - shoot bubbles, darkness, and dynamite.
- Redstone / Quartz / Overpower Bows - energy effects, freeze, and a volley of 3 arrows.
- Magic / Lava / End Bows - poisoning, fire, and "dragon blood" spill.
- Emerald Bow - features almost instantenous string tension.
