If you are aware of the current addons for Bedrock Edition of Minecraft, then you have probably already seen similar creations like the Waystone Addon, which creates teleportation points anywhere and in the quantity you want.
The magic mirror works differently - teleportation is only possible to the spawn point. Answer the question yourself why you need to go there, everyone has their own reasons. At the same time, the mirror is craftable and repairable, which fits perfectly into survival.
