It adds essentially a miner's chest flashlight attached to the chestplate, combining both the properties of body protection and a constantly shining flashlight that illuminates everything around.
This is the main idea that the Glowing Armor Addon follows. Putting on the updated chestplate makes torches in Minecraft Bedrock Ed lose their meaning especially when you are in caves and mines. Of course, using it at night also makes sense since you no longer need to place torches on your way.
A good solution is dynamic light for MCPE, which you can also download independently from the link. It works with torches and other items that emit light, not just the miner's chestplate.
