In the case of Vanilla Guns, all new weapons are firearms, this is true, but there is no adherence to realism. This is just a good equivalent of a bow and crossbow if you are ready to move to the gunpowder age.

Keeping with vanilla functions, weapons are repairable and enchantable, everything works like with the rest. And of course, it is more powerful than primitive weapons, causing more damage to any living force.
Ammo Matching - Each gun only fires its own ammo, so keep that in mind when crafting
