The current update completely overhauls Village Guards from all angles, bringing in many of the new features available in Minecraft PE 1.16 and 1.17. However, the addon continues to benefit you and your village with its armed and trained villagers. A new type of villagers are guards who can fight back any aggressive entities.
Unlike Village Guards, this addon has several types of villagers that you can recruit. There are actually two classes that are swordsmen and archers. So that you can train them, just give a bow (crossbow) or sword to a villager and he will become a soldier.
Instead of many classes, Village Guards adds only a few of which are enough to protect your home village from enemies. There are swordsmen as well as archers that do significant damage to anyone who tries to attack the village.
With 60 HP, archers deal 3 damage and swordsmen do 6. The wounded can be healed by eating fish and meat.
This is very easy to do if you have a helmet for swordsmen and a bow for archers. Go to the villager you want to recruit and give him a bow or helmet depending on the class.
The recruit follows the general order to protect the area from aggressive entities. You can make him follow you or order him to stand in place as a guard. Use an emerald for this and the guard will follow you.
