While snapshots of the Java version represent more and more new blocks, Minecraft Bedrock 1.16.0.53 only fixes errors. And if you want to get more from the Nether update then why not use Nether Plus Addon adding over 30 new items and blocks based on new vanilla blocks. There is something that will be included in the next updates of MCPE as well as some fictional items.

For Minecraft Bedrock 1.16, all new items are conceptual with the exception of a few. They cannot be used in crafting other items as is done in the official snapshots of Minecraft. Also, some blocks are only the author’s idea and have nothing to do with the current nether update. An example is a netherite chest, which can be locked with netherite key.
1. Open the file (.mcpack) using Minecraft Bedrock.
2. Activate the addon (world or game settings).
