Now when you go underground into a mine, tunnel or crevice, you will find dozens of ore rocks that are practically luminous and striking.

It may seem strange but the most unusual way and quite effective is hunting for chickens. 100 New Ores + Addon also adds 100 new ore chickens running around the world. If you catch one and beat you will get metal ingots of which the blocks consist. Traditional mining works as before: develop a mine and start mining new ores.
