No floating blocks, now every item (only listed below) works according to the laws of physics and gravity.

This game improvement is more related to add-ons that add realism to Minecraft PE. The vanilla mechanics of the game are designed so that dropped items will soar above the ground until you step on them or walk close by. But now you can no longer just go to the object to pick it up.
