As for Colored Chickens, this addon makes it so that now all the chickens in Minecraft will have a certain color, one of the 9 available. This means that now you can meet not just gray or white chicken, but also green, black, yellow or any other non-vanilla.

In truth, this addon, like many others, is entertaining. You will get no practical benefit except aesthetic pleasure. After all, standard farms where similar-type chickens roam is not very interesting, so new colored chickens will become a small variety, especially since they are able to reproduce and retain their color.
