Initially, I want to note the fact that the mod is still being developed and some of the mechanisms (most of them at the moment) do not have crafting recipes, so do not expect to play the survival mode, for now the creative mode is optimal for learning and creating machines.
Pocket Tech is a ported version of GregTech 4 for Minecraft PE, which is a massive addition to IC2. The modification refers to the industrial ones and adds a lot of mechanical things and objects used to design and create global mechanisms.
It is difficult to explain the purpose of the mod since each player has individual goals and everyone seeks to build only what he needs. For example, someone concentrates on extracting energy, someone is trying to build an autonomous smelter or a giant farm. Use the mechanisms as you want and try to achieve what you want.
