If you make an addon pack and want to add something not quite standard to it, then here's a great option, how to replace the original mob heads with new ones. There are 5 heads depicting some mobs that live in your worlds. The mob heads do not have a protection parameter, so it's pointless to wear them during fights, but the heads perfectly identify you among the other players.

You can put the found head on any flat surface as a decoration. The size and design of the heads has not been changed and they fully correspond to the usual mobs.
