Minecraft Bedrock 26.40.30 - Cushions & Straw Bed

In version 26.40.30, Mojang continued adding various adventure-related items, and this time you'll get several new decorative items in Minecraft Bedrock that will come in handy for those who love to decorate their homes and for travelers. Now here's a quick overview of what this update is about, and what you'll be getting soon (version 26.40.30 may not be out by the time this post is published, but stay tuned - it's coming soon).

Cushions in 26.40.30:

Soft cushions you can sit on and relax! Previously, you needed MCPE mods for the sitting function, but now there are cushions. They're crafted using three wool slabs of the same color, and a palette of 16 colors is available. Since they have no collision cushions can be placed right up against other objects. For example if you place one inside a wool staircase, you'll get an armchair or a sofa.

Spend the night without losing your home:

If you've gone far on an expedition and want to spend the night but are afraid of losing your main spawn point, Minecraft PE 1.26.40.30 now includes a straw bed! You can craft it from three hay blocks, which yields four items.

A straw bed is a single-use item, so you'll sleep until morning, after which the bed disappears. However your spawn point remains the same - where your permanent home is. In the Nether or the End, the straw bed will simply break if you try to lie down on it.

New Features in Biomes and Forest Camps:

Abandoned camps are camps that now generate in flower forests and the Pale Garden. There you can find campfires, tents, and new straw beds. At the same time, the Dappled Forest has been updated with new fog and modified textures for poplar foliage (orange red, and yellow). The sounds of foliage and bushes have also been updated, as have the icons for doors and signs.
