Minecraft Bedrock 26.40.27 - Abandoned Camp, Dappled Forest

The first version for Drop 3 is numbered 26.40.27 and comes with new structures, blocks and trees. It also includes a range of bug fixes including multiplayr issues but the main highlight is definetly the beginning of a new gamedrop, which you can start exploring right now by downloading or updating Minecraft Bedrock version 26.40.27.

Dappled Forest:

Dappled Forests now generate in cold regions in v26.40.27. They feature poplar trees with red, orange and yellow foliage. Colourfyl particles fall from their branches and the rustling canopy has been added as ambient sound.

Shelf mushrooms grow on trunks, and red bushes grow on the ground and can be spread using bone meal. Saplings for the new trees and new mushrooms can also be traded from the wandering trader by the way, a set of wooden blocks can be crafted from poplar wood.

Abandoned Camp as a new structure:

The Abandoned camp generates in nearly twenty biomes including the main ones. The camps appearance varies adapting to local trees and terrain. Inside you can find useful loot by searching abandoned barrels and chests. Its kind of like sunken ships but on land.

New blocks in 26.40.27:

Minecraft Bedrock 26.40.27 also adds wool stairs and slabs in all colors. Another feature is shelf mushrooms, which come in small and large sizes (the small ones grow from bone meal) they are used for cooking stew but if you step on them they bounce slightly like beds.

This is the first version from Drop 3 for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26; version 26.40.28 will likely include bug fixes.
