While everyone is waiting for the expansion of the technical capabilities of the Render dragon engine and its compatibility with shaders for Minecraft PE, you can enjoy such small but very significant textures like this one. Rivers Plus is a small texture pack of no more than 200 KB that redefines how lakes look in Bedrock Edition, making them more aesthetically pleasing in appearance.

Any of the lakes that you see while playing have several characteristic features that this pack is working on. First of all, it slightly improves the water by giving it more transparency, which is noticeable in the video below. This does not cause problems on 1.17.30 and is stable.
The next step is of course the plants surrounding the lake. These include kelp, lilypads, grass and sugarcane, which always grows next to water.
All of these now have more variations and retextures. They look organic if you keep playing with vanilla textures.
1. Download the pack and run it using Minecraft PE.
2. Go to the game settings and activate the pack.
