Imagine the overworld switching places with the Nether, where terrain blocks replaced the usual earth, and instead of drops of water, it rains in blood. Nether 1.16 takes out the old concept of shaping the world and adds the new blocks expected in Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.16. Everything would be fine, but these textures are intended for the overworld changing the essence of the game.

Real hell on earth:
After a few days of gameplay, you can feel the depression formed by many factors. The Nether is a rather frightening dimension where there is no sunlight. Lighting is lava and some plants that emit light. In the overworld, the sky will be covered in a dark veil, and in rainy weather you will see red drops from the sky.
Nether as the only world:
In Minecraft PE, there are different dimensions and the top one is the most livable. Now it looks like the Nether, although at the same time, Nether itself will remain unchanged. With these textures you will not find salvation anywhere, the whole world will plunge into real hell.
