Colored Lighting (Vibrant Colored Lighting for Minecraft Bedrock 26)

Colored Lighting is a fresh take on lighting in Minecraft Bedrock that adds RGB hues without requiring any modifications. Essentially it’s a legitimate shader but without RTX or similar features. Everything here is created using the default MCPack which means you can install it on any platform and operating system without patches.

How does Vibrant Colored Lighting work?

It’s a resource pack, so you dont need to enable experimental features or install add-ons. Everything happens at the texture level - over 100 different items and blocks will gain colored glows each unique to itself.

1. Amethyst crystals emit a purple glow
2. A copper torch and a catalyst sculk with a rich green and blue glow.
3. Multicolored candles match the color of their waxs; a black candle absorbs surrounding glare.
4. The portal to the Nether creates a purple aura around itself.
5. Sculk, weeping obsidian, and blooming eye flowers now have their own unique lighting effects
