The Wild Update 1.19, among other things, included an updated graphics engine, thereby making it impossible to use the traditional shaders that everyone is used to. In this case, ReGCE brings in the updated coloring as a separate change.
Playing Minecraft PE 1.19 with ReGCE does not cause any errors or lags. The fact is that it is designed as a resource pack that includes an updated environment, liquids and the sun. There are no smart mechanics of light distribution or geometric shadows, please consider this before installing.
