With Ascendant Sustenance, your body needs a balanced diet made up of carbohydrates, proteins, fats vitamins, and minerals. The hunger and fullness meter remains in place but a separate nutrient system works alongside it. Its a great addon if your looking for something other than new food items like those in the Vanilla Cookbook for Bedrock, and want a new hunger mechanic in Minecraft.

Nutrition Guide:

There are five nutrient scales, each starting at 50 units. There's also an encyclopedia covering 41 types of food. Hover your cursor over an apple, a fish or a steak to see how much of each nutrient they provide.

Rewards for a balanced diet and penalties for poor nutrition:

• If you let your carbs drop below 10 you'll slow down; if you raise them above 90, you'll speed up.
• Protein determines how weak or strong you are.
• Fat deficit reduces your armor by two points; an excess grants resistance.
• A vitamin deficiency weakens your body, an excess grants regeneration.
• Minerals affect your pickaxe's performance, causing either mining fatigue or a speed boost.
