The Sift Addon v0.8 for Minecraft Bedrock 26.70+

This post brings together all The Sift mods for Minecraft Bedrock, since every player has their own idea of what this new dimension should look like. Although Mojang has officially announced the sift and some of its features, many details are still up to the creators' imagination. Keep in mind that these are just concepts and the actual Minecraft Bedrock 27 update wont be released until next year.

How do you get to The Sift dimension?

Remove any sticks blocking the entrance and light the bottom block with flint. The portal will ignite and open a way to The Sift. In creative use the command /the_sift:travel

The dimension consists of floating patches of land. The Singer Meadow biome features turquoise grass, reddish soil, pools of shimmering ichor, trees with blue canopies and long vines. Next to it is Singer Canyon with deep crevices. In Pink Meadow, the hills are covered in bright grass, and dark forests stretch to the horizon. Further on lies the desolate Carapace, home to sand dunes, dry bushes and the skeletons of ancient creatures.

Siftium Mining and Equipment Crafting:

The Sift Addon v0.8 introduces the rare ore siftium. It has stats similar to netherite, including durability, but the raw mineral must be smelted into ingots. These ingots are used to craft a set of armor with new properties and a set of tools. Along with the ore, a range of building blocks has been added. Wood from local trees is used for planks, fences and stairs, while sift stone and limestone are processed into stone blocks.

Mobs and Creatures:

• Sift Rabbit-a peaceful mob that spawns when fed a carrot or a golden carrot and inhabits the pink meadows.
• Blup-has 4 regional forms with unique color schemes that match the landscape:

• Singer-a humanoid inhabitant of the Singer Meadow biome; it can sing and dance.
• Tuner-a totem mob made of carved stone.
• Echo Golem 2-a guardian golem.

• Lootkin-leaves valuable loot when defeated.
• Nuzzle-a peaceful mob.

• Seedling
• Dartback-fast and agressive.
• Prickle - a prickly creature.

Equipment and Minerals:

• Siftium Ore & Raw Siftium - a rare ore and raw mineral from the depths of the islands;
• Siftium Ingot - a top-tier resource, equal to Netherite in durability and effectiveness.
• Armor Set - when fully equipped, grants status effects in the dimension.
• Tool Set - deals maximum damage, has Netherite-level mining speed and high durability.
