You start out with a quest book, a pickaxe, and a flint and your goal is to escape. You build a portal frame, strike the bottom block, a powerful bolt of lightning strikes, and you're already inside. NPCs and Crafting:

The Path Home:

You must complete fifteen consecutive quests, culminating in the construction of altars for the bosses. First, defeat Demonic Vex to obtain a Level 2 Core, then craft a diamond set and summon the Dark Count (he attacks with lightning speed and flings you high into the air). Upon victory, you'll receive the coveted key that teleports you to the normal world's spawn point.
