The Mk 15 Phalanx turret turns your base into a fortress, automatically cutting off any air threats. It is fully automated, and as soon as an enemy appears within a radius of 100 blocks the system locks onto the target and destroys it. The rate of fire is insane - the interval between shots is only 0.1 seconds. At the same time, it has recoil animations and barrel rotation. A usefull thing against aircraft from add-ons such as the Simple Vehicles Addon.

Phalanx Features:
- The system itself searches for and attacks targets within a radius of 100 blocks.
- The shells deal 10 HP damage and inflict the withering effect.
- Effectivly destroys both vanilla dragons and custom fighters.
- 200 heart durability.
- Custom firing animations, and explosion particles on impact.
- Realistic sounds of a multi-barrel machine gun in action.
Who can it shoot down?
The system is configured to search for specific entities. The target list includes not only mobs such as the Wither or Phantom but also equipment from popular military mods, such as Su-57 aircraft, various helicopters, missiles and drones (from other add-ons of course).
There is protection against friendly fire, but the turret can destroy blocks if the Griefing parameter is enabled.
