Glyphbound adds a sophisticated system of runes and magic with a beautiful animated interface to Bedrock Edition 1.21 (developed for 1.21, older versions have not been tested). It is an excellent alternative to the usual magic add-ons where everything is thought out to the smallest detail.
First, you need to find Runic Ore, which can be found from approximately zero coordinates up to a height of 40. It drops Runic Shards, which are needed to create runes. If Vibrant Visuals is enabled, the ore and magical effects will glow slightly.
Next, create a Runic Table - a special table with a unique interface. Through it, you can create runes, insert them into tools, or duplicate existing ones. (See the screenshots for the UI.)
To create a rune, you need special templates (slates), which can be found in special structures in the world. There are four types: Blank Utility, Generic, Combat, and Armor Slate - each suitable for different types of runes.
After placing the slate and fragment, the creation process begins, and after a while, a magical symbol is obtained, such as the Soul Bind Rune, which binds an item to the player's soul and preserves it after death. Runes can also be duplicated by adding gold nuggets and an echo fragment.
Runes are divided into several categories:
Swift Rune - increases movement speed outside of combat.
Vitality Rune - gradually restores health.
Deflection Rune - deflects arrows and projectiles.
Disarm Rune - knocks weapons out of enemies' hands.
Fire Ward Rune - provides temporary resistance to fire.
Vein Miner Rune - mines an entire vein of ore at once.
Luminosity Rune - illuminates the space around the player.
Magnet Rune - attracts dropped items.
Ferocity Rune - deals a powerful wave of damage.
Lifesteal Rune - steals health from opponents.
Stormfury Rune - releases a chain lightning between enemies.
