In reality, Biomes O' Discovery is more of a biome tweak for BE 1.21, mainly working with the biomes that already exist rather than adding entirely new ones. Of course, there are a few new biomes, but they mostly resemble vanilla ones, with slight differences in flora and fauna.

Much like the Biomes O' Plenty Addon for Bedrock Edition, this addon focuses on improving the biomes that are already in the game. You won't find anything supernatural here, especially if you were hoping for a completely unique and alien-looking dimension. 
There are no magical jungles or super-frozen wastelands - Biomes O' Discovery instead enriches existing biomes with more diverse vegetation, including new trees and bushes.
