There is nothing difficult in organizing the operation of one of the generators. First, craft it using a generators crafting table. Then place it where you want it to generate resources. The last step is to place the block it generates on it. For example, place a block of gold on a gold generator to make it work.
Plus, there is the Resource Generators Addon, which brings in 20 additional generators that work in a similar way. Use them if the generators from this post are not enough for you.
