Fans are some of the oldest Minecraft machines used in everything from auto farms to traps. They are now available as an add-on according to the expected features and performing the required functions. With them, you can build an independent farm machine and gain experience indefinitely without doing almost anything.

The main machine is a fan with several functions. First of all, it creates a stream of air that pushes entities in a given direction. This allows you to build entire airways to send mobs wherever you want.
The fans must be turned on with the lever to start working. Moreover, they interact well with redstone and other mechanisms.
The part that no exp farm can do without is the grinder. This block literally destroys any entity that stands on it. It can be replaced with a makeshift mechanism with a dispenser e.g, but the grinder is more convenient and only takes up one block of space.
