No doubt they will be part of the next beta versions of Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.16 or 1.17 in the near future, but if you have no patience to see these wonderful underwater creatures, then here is a concept addon that exactly repeats the Java axolotl.

Axolotls are the planned content for Minecraft PE 1.17, which is slated for release in the middle of next year, but of course the functional beta versions will roll out much earlier. Perhaps we will see axolotls in MCPE before the end of this year.
When describing them as entities, keep in mind their habitat since axolotls are aquatic mobs. The addon takes this fact into account by distributing their spawn area so far only in lakes.
As expected, the axolotls from the PC version of Minecraft are neutral and aggressive towards all aggressive entities living underwater. Here are some of the features the addon introduces based on the original axolotls.
1. Several types of axolotls (several colors)
2. Breedable with tropical fish
3. Catch axolotls using a bucket of water
4. May die without water
5. Attack aggressive aquatic entities
6. Use a leash to pull them
7. Animated and make sounds
1. Download the file and open it using MCPE.
2. Go to the game setting and activate it.
