Striders, as one of the new mobs in Minecraft Bedrock 1.16, are very specific entities that live only in the nether. They are useless as an attacking mob, but they can come in handy when you encounter a large lava lake. Thanks to its lava resistance, the strider can painlessly move through the lava without damage to the player, but it's very sad that there is only one strider variant.

Each new strider is an independent mob with some affinity with the rest. As you can see, some of them are very different from the vanilla strider. For example, Cyclider gained an offensive ability and can deal 5 damage to its enemies.
Other striders are not limited to the nether world and can spawn in the overworld right in the plains and forests. Such striders do not depend on the nether atmosphere and feel comfortable being in the overworld.
Please note that some striders, Gulpters in particular, are aggressive towards animals and may hunt them.
1. Open the file (.mcpack) using Minecraft PE.
2. Activate the addon (world or game settings).
