Taming:

Any dog, beagle or german shepherd, can be tamed if you feed them with a bone. After that, you are the master and can command the dog: follow you or wait on the spot. But keep in mind that some dog breeds are aggressive towards other creatures in Minecraft PE, which can trigger a random fight.

Dogs Behavior:

Speaking of behavioral patterns, all dogs are not wild and will always do what you ask them to. As in reality, large dogs are stronger and more stable than small ones. Consider this factor before you assemble a group for raids or attack bosses.
