Striders are the new mobs from Minecraft 1.16 Nether Update for computers and have not yet been submitted for Bedrock Edition. Stop waiting and add this wonderful creature yourself by installing a simple addon. Do not be surprised that it replaces zombie pigmen and also does not have such a characteristic set of properties as it is implemented in snapshots of the Java version.

We did not even imagine that MCPE 1.16 would get another creature in addition to piglins and hoglins. Those two live in crimson forests and are always aggressive towards the players (in the case of the piglins until you put on the gold armor).
Striders are probably the only neutral mobs in the nether who will not attack you as soon as possible. Addon makes them as neutral to the players, but aggressive if there is a golem nearby.
With 100% striders in MCBE 1.16 will look the same as they are in Minecraft Java.These are small entities with legs that have the ability to walk on lava! Yes, they are resistant to hot lava and do not tolerate surfaces other than lava at all.
Being in the nether, an ordinary wooden boat will not help you to cross the lava lake. In such cases, you will need a living creature called striders. Put a saddle on it and safely move along the lava as if you were riding a horse.
