But addonmakers cannot accept this and create their own variations of mobs that are not much different from the official offers. If you want the rat you found to be your friend then feed it with meat. The well-fed rats automatically become friendly and follow you on the trail. And the rats are good enough mates during fights. A tamed rat is slightly stronger than a wild one, so create small squads of rats to deal with your enemies very quickly.
Usually, wild rats shun players and run away when you approach them. But if you hit a rat, it can bite you with a little damage. In appearance, the rats are not as small as you might think, they are more like small pigs. They can be found anywhere in any biome and they are always ready to become your tamed animals.
